Two mountain bikes and a power washer were taken from an outside shed at a property on Lower Lane in the early hours of April 20.

One of the bikes is a turquoise and yellow Yeti and the other is a silver and black Marin and the offenders gained access to the shed by unscrewing the hinges from the outside.

However, this shed had an alarm fitted which must have deterred the offenders and the contents of the shed were left untouched.

Now Buxton Police Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for people in the area to check their CCTV and asking anyone with any information to contact them, quoting reference 2*215111, by calling 101, or via the online contact form at www.derbyshire.police.uk/Contact-Us.
