Police appeal after damage caused in New Mills town centre

Glossop Police SNT said it was believed the damage had been caused by groups of youths.
They added: “Young people have also been reported gathering, leaving litter, broken glass and causing ASB at Newtown Recreation Ground, Quarry road Pavilion and High Lea park and the public toilets on High Street.

Hide Ad“We are patrolling and we will not accept this type of behaviour.
"As the weather improves and the restrictions ease, we are ecpecting that there will be more people out and about, but there is no need for wanton damage spoiling our town.”
Officers appealed for anyone with any information about the damage to contact them.
