Missing man last seen leaving hospital could be in Buxton

Police in Derbyshire looking to find a man who was last seen leaving a hospital said he could be in Buxton.

Martin Gibbons, was last seen at about 5.30pm on Thursday, March 19, leaving Tameside General Hospital in Manchester.

A spokesman for Derbyshire Police said: “He has links to Glossop and may have travelled to the area since Thursday. Martin is known to frequent Manchester city centre and also has links to Buxton.

“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Martin and want to make sure he is safe and well.”

He is white, 5ft 4ins in height, with a shaved head.

He was last seen wearing a blue fleece, dark blue jeans, leather shoes and glasses.

Anyone with any information about Martin’s whereabouts is asked to contact Greater Manchester Police on 0161 856 9521 quoting incident number 2,123 of March 19.
