Men reportedly stole hedge trimmer from Peak District property before fleeing towards Ladybower Reservoir

Police in the Peak District have urged residents to be vigilant and report suspicious activity after two men reportedly stole a hedge trimmer from a property.

Officers were told men wearing hi-vis clothing stole a hedge trimmer from a home on Ashopton Road, Bamford yesterday (January 20).

The two men allegedly drove off in a white transit van, towards Ladybower Reservoir.

Anyone who has witnessed anything suspicious in the area is encouraged to report information to police using either 101 or 999 in the case of an emergency.
