Dove Holes man brought before magistrates following village gun raid

A 20-year-old Dove Holes man has appeared before magistrates on a gun charge following a dramatic raid on a suspected firearms factory at a quiet cul-de-sac in the village.

Aaron Melville appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on December 2 - accused of possession of a firearm.

The defendant’s appearance at court came after organised crime police swooped on a house on Walker Brow on December 1.

Officers seized a number of items during the raid.
