The 70-year-old man is the tenth prisoner to die from the virus, the Ministry of Justice confirmed.

As of yesterday (April 7), 107 prisoners have tested positive in 38 jails, as well as 19 prison staff across 12 jails.

The Ministry of Justice has so far said up to 4,000 low-risk prisoners in England and Wales will be temporarily released to try to control the spread of the virus.
