The Buxton Safer Neighbourhood Team were out on patrol on Friday, February 19 out on Fairfield Road and on the estate.

The evening started with some partnership working where the SNT have been looking at what some of its partners can do to assist them with issues reported by residents and reports surrounding Fairfield Road.

A force spokesperson said: “Following this work we've been out throughout the evening across Buxton and Harpur Hill where a male has been arrested for failing to appear at court, alongside this we have been conducting stop searches (both persons and vehicles)

“We use stop search both to disrupt and prevent crime in Buxton and the wider High Peak and will continue to utilise this tactic as we are committed to driving down crime and want Buxton and the surrounding towns to be amongst the safest places in Derbyshire to live.”
