A Buxton man accused  raping women he met on dating websites has charges dropped

A Buxton man charged with raping two women he met on popular online dating websites has had the sex offence charges against him dropped.

Derbyshire police had charged Daniel Hibberts (41) of Williamson Avenue, Buxton, with raping women he met on the website Plenty of Fish and the app Tinder.

After review, both charges have now been discontinued a Derby Crown Court hearing heard. A decision will be made on a non-sexual charge of possessing a

Taser at his home address on July 20, of this year.
