Residents in Bradwell are being invited to attend events where they can receive crime prevention advice and free ‘smart water’ kits from their local safer neighbourhood policing team.

The events are being held at the Bradwell Sports Pavilion between 3pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 10 and 11.

‘Smart water’ is a liquid that is invisible to the naked eye that is suitable for the marking of all kinds of valuables.

The traceable liquid carries a unique forensic code which is registered to an address or location making assets uniquely identifiable.

PCSO Anthony Boswell from the local policing team said: “This is a great opportunity for local residents to come along and have a chat to the team about crime prevention advice and receive a free smart water kit.”
