Appeal after series of motorcycle thefts in Glossop

Police are appealing for information after a series of motorcycle thefts in Glossop.

A black Lex moto 125 cc was taken from Thorncliffe Road in Hadfield sometime between 10pm on Wednesday and 9am on Thursday. The vehicle had been on a chain in the front garden.

A blue Baotain bike was taken from a car park at Winster Mews, Gamesley, between 11.30pm on Wednesday and 9.30am on Thursday and a Honda 1000cc motorbike was taken from a house on Queen Street in Hadfield sometime after 8.30pm on Wednesday. The Honda was later recovered a short distance from the property.

A red Suzuki Bandit motorcycle was taken from a property on Mount Street in Glossop sometime between 8pm on Wednesday and 7.25am on Thursday. It was later recovered on a dirt track at the top of George Street but the rev counter had been stolen and the headlights had been smashed.
