Appeal after crash injury

An appeal has been made for information in tracing a motorist who left the scene of an crash in Buxton.

A taxi driver had to be cut free from his vehicle following the collision on Queen’s Road on Saturday evening at around 8.25pm.

He was taken to hospital with a spinal injury while his passenger is believed to have suffered whiplash injuries.

The other vehicle involved sustained damage but failed to stop at the scene.

Now police are appealing for anyone who has information about the identity of the driver, or who has information about a vehicle suddenly sustaining damage, to contact them.
