Counting is underway this morning after yesterday’s Derbyshire County Council elections.

All 64 seats on the council are up for grabs with High Peak voters choosing their representatives for the Buxton North and East, Buxton West, New Mills, Chapel and Hope Valley and Whaley Bridge wards.

Derbyshire County Council was Labour controlled for 28 years prior to 2009, when the Conservatives took control.
