Hayfield residents are being asked for their views on plans to move the village’s post office.

A public consultation is inviting locals to comment on proposals by the Post Office to move the branch from its current site on Market Street to a new location in the Village Store.

Should the move go ahead, the branch would have extended opening hours from 8am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and from 8am to 8pm on Sunday. It would also be a modern open-plan retail environment.
