Chapel-en-le-Frith residents are being urged to have their say on the town’s proposed Neighbourhood Development Plan.
Prepared by Chapel Parish Council, the plan sets out a vision for the area that reflects how local people want the town to be developed in the future.
Cllr Godfrey Claff, High Peak Borough Council’s executive member for regeneration, said: “This is an important planning document for the parish of Chapel and it is therefore equally important that local residents are able to examine it and give their views and opinions on its content.
“Residents can call in to view a paper copy at the town hall or library in Chapel, the council offices in Buxton or Glossop or the Peak District National Park Authority office in Bakewell.”
The consultation period runs until November 13 with all comments received being considered by an independent examiner who will report on the plan before a local referendum on the final document.
