Hello everyone. I hope you’re all enjoying my tips as much I am enjoying sharing them with you!

Education is key when it comes to getting the best from your skin so if you would like to ask anything more about your skin in detail, pop in to the salon in Toni and Guy, Buxton, or email me at beautique@outlook.com.

Tone your face!

Applying a toner to your face helps to even out the porosity of your skin to allow for optimal moisturiser absorption.

Also using a spritz toner throughout the day helps to maintain hydration levels and prevents moisture loss.

Girls, remove your make-up before bed

Sometimes we get too tired and it seems a real effort to remove it but if you don’t, it will clog up your pores overnight and cause excessive dryness.

Almost every form of make-up contains a molecule that can grow yeast overnight too.

Removing eye make-up can help prevent those small, hard white bumps called milia, which need to be professionally extracted with the use of a needle.

Manage your stress levels

Uncontrolled stress can make your skin highly sensitive and trigger breakouts along with other skin problems.

To encourage healthy skin and a healthy state of mind take steps to manage your stress.

Set reasonable limits, scale back your to-do list and make time to do the things you enjoy.

The results will certainly reflect in your skin health.

Product of the month – Total eye care spf 15
