Christ Church in Burbage is holding its Clypping Service this weekend.

The church is one of only a few in England that still hold the ceremony, which involves the congregation holding hands in an outward-facing ring around the church before cheering and singing hymns.

Burbage’s service is this Sunday, August 10, at 10.30am, and will be followed by a ‘bring and share’ lunch in the church.
