Classic car fans will be heading to Tatton Park this weekend for one of the north west’s biggest shows.
The magnificent stately home and grounds have hosted the Volkswagen Northwest (VWNW) event for 30 years.
The show has gone from strength to strength since it began in 1985 and this year’s event, which takes place on Sunday August 2, once again promises a fantastic day out for all the family.
Taking place on Sunday, the show is one of the highlights of the VW scene calendar and just gets bigger and better each year with hundreds of classic VW camper vans and Beetles on display.
As well as club displays and show and shine competitions, the show also features a huge range of trade stands, plus refreshments and children’s attractions.
And if you’re looking for something to do once you’ve seen the show, you can also take a tour around the mansion, walk around the grounds, or visit the farm or playground.
Entry to VWNW costs £7.50 although separate charges to Tatton Park apply. Children under 14 are free.
