Chinley Primary School pupils have brought a smile to the faces of patients at Wythenshawe Hospital.
The students have been busy making talking books for Care Companion volunteers to utilise on the wards.
The talking books support sixth form students and volunteers to develop social interactions with patients on the ward.
Sally Madden, Project Manager at the University Hospital of South Manchester, said: “The patients seem to adore these books.
“It was delightful to see the enthusiasm and passion these children demonstrated in their quest to help and support others.”
