Chapel Vision is appealing for volunteers

CHAPEL Vision is looking for volunteers to participate on three surveys as they continue to work towards creating a comprehensive Neighbourhood Plan for the parish.

Feedback from the 950 people who responded to the recent postal and online survey presented a significant challenge to collate and analyse the information included.

This has shown that protecting the countryside is a high priority for many residents so the Countryside Group of Chapel Vision is looking for help with three surveys to provide a better understanding of the landscape, associated birds and wildlife in the Parish.

This will provide the information to identify areas that are of special interest. One survey will record birds and wildlife seen anywhere in the Parish; another birds and wildlife you may see from your own home and the third will document the characteristics of the landscape in defined areas.

No experience is needed, recording of data is simple and training can be provided. Participation in the survey will be fun and family-friendly.
