A Chapel–en–the–Frith man will be bringing style to daytime TV when he appears in a new makeover show.
Andrew Trott–Barn, who attended Chapel High School, is the resident stylist on new ITV1 lunchtime show Star Treatment.
Hosted by Jane Mcdonald, the show will be aired in August and take the slot of Loose Women over the summer, with 15 episodes in which hard–working employees are nominated by their bosses for a makeover before being whisked off for a slap–up meal cooked by a celebrity chef.
Andrew said: “It was a great experience and hopefully we’ll get another series.
“Jane Mcdonald was amazing to work with. She is hilarious and exactly what you would expect.”
Starting out at Velu, in the Market Place, Buxton, Andrew quickly progressed in his career, going on to work for Toni and Guy before moving onto Harvey Nichols in Manchester, where he set up his own range of products.
Now living in Manchester, he has styled many celebrities over the years, including David Hasselhoff, Michelle Keegan and Helen Flanagan of Coronation Street, and songstress Lily Allen.
Andrew also hosts the Mirror Ball in the Lowry, Manchester, which this year will raise money for charity Forever Manchester.
