EARLY-morning call for the police to Victoria Road, Kirkby.

Safer Neighbourhood officers from Chapel and Chinley are inviting local residents to set the policing priorities for their community.

Sergeant Steve Johnson, PC Andy Crosthwaite and PCSO Karen Green will be hosting the next priority meeting on Wednesday, July 22 to give residents the opportunity to raise any neighbourhood concerns with them.

The meeting will take place from 7pm at Rems bar on Market Street in Chapel-en-le-Frith.

It is a chance for residents to meet officers, find out more about current community issues and to raise any concerns about crime in their area with the team.

Police will then set neighbourhood priorities to focus on for the following three months, based on feedback from the public

The current neighbourhood priority, which was set following the April meeting, sees the team tackling anti-social behaviour in Chapel-en-le-Frith and Chinley.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to put forward any issues contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
