High Peak residents are being offered two more opportunities to have their say on the borough’s Local Plan.
The document will earmark land for housing, employment and leisure and, once adopted, be used to help determine planning applications.
Drop-in sessions were held across the borough in March but an event planned for Buxton had be postponed and will now take place on Monday May 20 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at the Octagon, Pavilion Gardens.
A new event has also been arranged in Hayfield following requests from the community to allow people to tell the council and the Peak District National Park Authority what they like and dislike about living and working in the village and what their hopes are for the future of the village over the next 15 years. It will take place on Thursday May 23 at the Royal Hotel from 7pm to 8.30pm.
The formal period of consultation for the preferred options closed last month but anyone attending the events can write to the council at Regeneration, High Peak Borough Council, Town Hall, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6EL and their views will be taken into account.
