CCTV shot released in Buxton building society robbery investigation

The robbery happened at about 9am on Friday, October 7, at a branch of the Nottingham Building Society in Spring Gardens.

A man with his face concealed went into the branch and threatened staff, demanding cash. He then ran off from the rear of the building.

The man was white, had a Manchester accent, and was wearing navy blue trainers, blue tracksuit bottoms, a bright blue t-shirt, a grey hoodie and a full-face balaclava.

He was also carrying a bright blue sports bag.

Detectives investigating the robbery have issued a CCTV still of a man in the hope that someone might recognise him from his clothing.
