Cat has leg amputated after being shot with pellet in New Mills


Police are appealing for witnesses after a cat had to have a leg removed after being shot by a pellet.

The cat was let out on Friday, May 13 between 9pm and midnight when it returned home to Low Leighton Road with a damaged leg.

Derbyshire police said due to the severity of the cat’s injury its leg has had to been amputated.
