Two charities are appealing for more people to come forward and apply for grants.
Both the United Charities Trust and the Bowden Head Educational Foundation are able to make grants to groups or individuals in the Parish of Chapel.
Councillor Hilary Batterbee, chairman of the trustees of the United Charities, said: “We would like to encourage more applications as money is available to help those in need.”
Chapel-en-le-Frith. People who require support for educational training or have specific needs with reference to health, disability or changing economic circumstances may well be eligible for a grant.
Previous grant money has been spent on buying school uniforms, covering the cost of trips or setting up events .
