Capture on film the Olympic Torch Relay

High Peak Community Arts (HPCA) is launching a project to capture the moment the Olympic Torch passes through Buxton.

With many people set to film the event using their phones or digital cameras, HPCA wants to gather as much footage as it can to create a film to remember the day.

So if you shoot some footage that looks good, share it with High Peak Community Arts on the day at the upload station in the Pavilion Atrium, opposite the coffee bar at the Gardens.

Or you can upload the footage to Youtube making sure you include “Buxton OTR sharing video” in the title field. In the description you must state “I agree for this footage to be used in the sharing film” which allows HPCA to use and edit the footage.

Alternatively, contact Sophie Mackreth at HPCA on 01663 744 516 or email, and they can arrange another way to collect your contribution.
