Buxton rescuers aid injured dog walker

Mountain rescuers and an off-duty paramedic went to the aid of a woman who suffered a knee injury while out walking her dogs in Buxton.

The 26-year-old had been walking in the Solomons Temple/Grinlow Woods area on Saturday morning.

Fifteen members of Buxton Mountain Rescue Team responded and, together with the off-duty paramedic, treated the casualty and stretchered her to a waiting ambulance.
