Buxton pals raise £887 for hospital
Two friends from Buxton have raised £887 for the care of bereaved parents and Butterfly dementia departments at the Royal Derby Hospital.
Louise Golden and Laura Moseley took part in Derby Hospitals Charity’s colour run.
Louise chose to run for the care of bereaved parents unit, after her colleague’s son was born asleep in 2016. When Louise learned that her friend was expecting again she decided to raise money for the maternity department.
Laura ran the event to raise money for the Butterfly dementia fund after a family member was affected by the condition.
The money will go towards new equipment.
