Buxton charity wants to expand into empty Grove Hotel
Robinson’s Brewery, which own the historic hotel on Grove Parade in Buxton previously said they ‘do not have plans to re-open the hotel, but remain open minded about its future’.
Now Bright Opportunities has come forward and said the space would be perfect for it to expand into. Tracey Green, director and founder of the group, said: “To be based out of The Grove, which is currently sitting doing nothing, would be a dream come true for us.

Bright Opportunities is a not-for-profit creative community based day service which seeks to promote choice, opportunity and independence in the way in which each service user decides to use their day in a personal centered approach.
Tracey said: “When we set up seven years ago we were only a Saturday club but there is such a need for the work we do we now operate six days a week and evenings as well.
“We have already out grown our space and now we are split across several sites which doesn’t provide continuity for our clients especially those with autism so we really need to find a new home which is big enough.

“Consequently the short term occupation of the premises is impractical.
