The best place to live in Derbyshire has been revealed in new research.

The Bank of Scotland’s 2019 Quality of Life Survey gave the prize to the Derbyshire Dales. A total of six out of Derbyshire's eight local authorities made it into the top 250 nationally. Where does your region rank?

The Dales topped the list for Derbyshire and came in 10th out of the UK as a whole. It has the second highest person to pub ratio out of any local authority in Britain (27 per 10,000 adults). Pictured: Monsal Dale.
