The waste and recycling service across the High Peak is to be reviewed with a view to increasing the range of materials collected at the kerbside for recycling.
The move comes as households are reminded about enforced changes to how cardboard is collected. From now on cardboard should only go in the blue bag used for collecting paper on kerbside recycling day.
The Borough Council has put stickers on the bins to alert residents to the changes and a leaflet will be sent to all households this week.
Anthony McKeown, executive councillor for community services, said families had already responded “fantastically well” to the overhaul but added that a further reminder would help households that had not yet got used to the changes.
The council has ordered larger blue bags, heeding concerns that the existing bags might not be large enough to accommodate all the cardboard thrown out.
In addition, cardboard placed in carrier bags can be put out for collection alongside the blue bag.
