STAFF at Gascoigne Halman, in Whaley Bridge, turned bakers for the day when they joined a company-wide charity Bakethon.
Eggs were beaten and flour sifted to raise money for the estate agent’s charity of the year, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, and overall a tasty sum of £3,020 was collected on the day.
Lorraine Batty, from the Whaley Bridge office, said: “That was a great way to raise money.
“Everyone was really supportive and we are delighted to have raised £200 here in Whaley Bridge. Thanks to everyone who made a purchase.”
Gascoigne Halman’s first ever Bakethon took place two years ago and raised over £2,000 for The Christie.
