Two men used threats and violence against an 85 year-old Derbyshire man while demanding cash and making off with sentimental jewellery.

The burglars broke into his home while he was asleep upstairs on November 5 at 1.25am.

Police would like to trace a car which was seen to drive up Long Lane, Charlesworth, where the elderly man lives, and into Church Fold, around 1am.

Possibly the same car then drove out of Church Fold and towards Marple.
