A car has been stolen after houses and garages were been broken into in Tideswell and keys to cars were taken.
There has been a spate of thefts and burglaries in the Tideswell area and a spokesman for Derbyshire Police said: “A property on Alma Road was broken into sometime between midnight and 5am on Saturday, June 15, and a set of car keys and a Nissan Leaf car were stolen.
“During the same night a set of keys were also stolen from another car parked on the same road.
“Between 1am and 2.30am on Monday, June 18 a garage and a car on Park Road were targeted but nothing was stolen.
“A home on Sherwood Road was broken into around the same time, and a safe, a set of keys and a ceramic pot were stolen.”
Police officers have been carrying out inquiries, and would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a group of three people who were seen running from Sherwood Road, in the direction of Old Manchester Road, at around 2.15am on Monday, June 18.
One of the people is believed to have been wearing a jacket and light coloured jogging bottoms.
It is not yet known if the incidents are all linked.
