BURBAGE is gearing up to celebrate this year’s Diamond Jubilee.

Christ Church will be holding a Diamond Jubilee Fair on Bank Holiday Monday June 4, between noon and 4pm.

Celebrations in the gardens of Burbage House will include two displays by the famous Billerettes, at 1pm and 3pm.

There will also be a children’s treasure hunt from 2.30pm, fancy dress and face painting competitions, plus musical entertainment.

Cream teas will be served in the Burbage Institute from 2pm, and bowling matches will take place on the bowling green from 10am.

The Jubilee Gardens will be the venue for many stalls. A barbecue will be held from noon.

If wet, the celebrations will be held in Christ Church and the Burbage Institute.
