To coincide with Afternoon Tea Week, Denby Pottery has launched a new collection of tea-themed art produced by artist Sarah Marley.

The stunning range of canvas prints, mounted pictures and bespoke cards – inspired by Sarah’s love of the quintessentially English tradition of afternoon tea – was unveiled on Monday as part of a unique collaboration with Denby.

Sarah, who also owns award-winning B&B Chevin Green Farm, said: “I have always loved the ritual of afternoon tea and it has been an ambition of mine to launch a collection of tea-themed art celebrating this great British tradition.

“I can think of nowhere more appropriate than Denby pottery for my collection to be launched and sit alongside.”

Richard Eaton, Denby’s Design Director, added: “Denby has been working with Sarah for some time to develop this distinctive collection. Denby shares Sarah’s ‘Made in Derbyshire’ ethos and her art naturally blends in with our pottery.

“I am expecting her designs to be very popular with visitors and tourists to our visitor centre.”
