Be Bright, Be Seen

Children are being warned to be bright and be seen in a £700,000 government campaign in cinemas and on television.

Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership has welcomed the move which highlights the importance of finding a safe place to cross the road.

Partnership chairman Mike Ashworth said: “This is a timely message for youngsters because the clocks will be going back on Sunday, October 30.”

He also urged parents to consider buying their children reflective clothing so they can be seen more easily as the nights begin to draw in.
