High Peak CVS and the BIG Lottery Fund are to help High Peak groups improve their chances of success by providing an event on ‘How to Get Money from the Lottery!’
The workshop is one the ‘Awards for All’ programme a small easy-to-access fund offering grants of £300 - £10,000 to community groups.
Led by Matt Rowe, Regional Development Officer for the BIG Lottery Fund, the workshop will provide an overview of how to apply.
He will explain what sort of projects are suitable for funding, what common errors are made and how to avoid them, and how bids are assessed.
The workshop is for those who know little about the programme or who are thinking of applying for grant funding for the first time.
Places for the free session, in Whaley Bridge on Wednesday, November 2, 10am–12 noon must be booked in advance. Call Louise 01663 735 350 or email firstname.lastname@example.org .
