Officers investigating an allegation of voyeurism in Buxton have made an arrest.

The 37-year-old Buxton man has been arrested on suspicion of observing a person doing a private act, questioned and released on bail while inquiries continue.

At around 1.30pm on Sunday, January 24, a man was in a toilet cubicle at Pavilion Gardens, near to the Paxton Suite entrance, when he noticed someone holding a compact mirror on the floor, in between two cubicles.

The man shouted to see if anyone was in the cubicle and then heard someone leave in a hurry.
