Neil Jackson is believed to have been responsible for a number of incidents – ranging from indecent assault to rape of an 11 year-old girl – over a two-year period.

The alleged offences came to light in 2001 when Mr Jackson was living in Buxton.

Since then, he is believed to have flown to Alicante in Spain.

However, a former colleague believes he saw Mr Jackson shopping in Chester city centre.

The independent charity Crimestoppers is now offering a reward of up to £2,000 for information to find Mr Jackson.

Mr Jackson is described as still looking very similar to his passport photo, pictured above, but wore a beanie or flat hat when he was spotted in Chester.

He has a number of tattoos on his left arm and back, including his own name.

A Crimestoppers spokesman said: “If he is still in this country then it most likely that he will be living under a new identity.”
