Apply for funding from High Peak Mayoral Charity Committee

The Buxton and district branch of the charity is welcoming requests for funding from applicants in the south of the borough, covering the Buxton area including Dove Holes.

Committee chair, Coun Alan Barrow, said: “All funds raised by this committee are in support of local groups or organisations, to whom just a few hundred pounds can make a difference.

“Over the past 26 years this committee has handed out over £130,000 supporting 150 local charitable causes.”

Previous funding recipients may reapply, however applicants from national charities, political organisations and from outside the committee’s catchment will not be accepted.

Applications must be submitted in writing before Friday April 20 and include an outline of how any funding will be used, a current (income/expenditure) balance sheet, a contact name and telephone number.
