Appeal after coping stones are stolen from a wall in Glossop

Police are appealing for information after five coping stones have been stolen from a wall in Simmondley, Glossop.

PCSO Amy McKeever of the local Safer Neighbourhood policing team has been making inquiries.

She said: “We’d really like to hear from anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or with any information which could help with our inquiries.

“Stones can be expensive to replace, and damage can be caused which will need repairing. Please be aware and alert, and contact us as soon as you can if you notice anything you think may be suspicious.”
