An event which holds true to tradition, the show will feature prize categories for sheep and cattle, Shire horses, show jumping, terriers and lurchers, rare breeds, dogs, pets for the younger generation and a large display of poultry from the Henmore club.

The showground is situated close to the Staffordshire-Derbyshire border, and takes its entries from the parishes bounding the course of the River Manifold, with some open events.

It will also feature a display of rural vintage machinery and tractors, a slow tractor race and arts, handicrafts, and produce from local residents.

Main ring events are all countryside orientated, including the Chase Me Charlie horse jumping, carriage driving, and hounds and working dogs.

The grand finale will be terrier racing, open to all types of terriers entered on the day. Organisers also hope to stage a tug-of-war contest.

There will be trade stands, a bar, and refreshment facilities, making it a great family day out.

Free parking is readily accessible on the show ground. Admission is £5 for adults, £2 for children aged 5-12, and free for under-fives.
