Seafarers young and old travelled to Liverpool to mark the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic.
Members of the Buxton Royal Naval Association (RNA) and Buxton Sea Cadets paid their respects at the occasion, which saw ships from all over the world port in the maritime city.
The cadets arrived at the event in style on HMS Bulwark after boarding the vessel a few days earlier at Devonport, in Plymouth. It then went on to lead the warships at the weekend.
Shipmates from Buxton RNA visited HMS Pembroke the German minesweeper FGS Groemitz and the Canadian warship HMCS Iroquois.
They gave their thanks to chairman Roddie MacLean, of the Buxton Hall Bank Trust, who generously supported the celebration.
