20-year-old man left with serious facial injuries in Buxton after he was hit by a wine bottle

The man was attacked on Terrace Road.

Just before that incident wine was stolen from Tesco Express on London road at around 2.40am on Friday, September 14.

A police spokesman said: "Can you help us identify the men in these CCTV images? We'd like to speak to them in connection with the theft of wine and an alleged assault in Buxton."
