Record-breaker's epic trek
Setting off from Cairo in April last year, it took Beaumont 42 days to reach Cape Town beating the previous record set by Keegan Longueira by 59 days and eight hours.
His journey took him across deserts, mountains and the vast Savannah, but it was the people along the way that inspired him the most.
