He is on a tour of select venues to plug his second solo album Believe and will air songs from it at the stately home near Macclesfield on Friday, August 19.

Jonathan, 21, said: “The venues I am playing are all quite intimate so it’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to get close with my audience and hopefully entertain them.

“The last few years have been an absolute whirlwind since Britain’s Got Talent and I am continually grateful for all the fantastic support I have received and continue to do so from my wonderful fans.”

His latest album features a selection of classical arias and Jonathan’s renditions of contemporary classics such as Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah – recently described by North West End as “very stirring, with Jonathan going through a whole range of emotions in his singing. The audience was transfixed - including me”.

Jonathan released his first album Tenore in October 2014 and it went straight to number one in the classical charts and stayed there for three weeks.

He is the youngest tenor to ever have a classical number one and Jonathan was described as having an “impressive vocal maturity for one so young” by John Suchet when Tenore was his album of the week for Classic FM.

Jonathan will be supported by Macclesfield Male Voice Choir at Gawsworth Hall. Tickets £26.50. Contact www.gawsworthhall.com/product/jonathanantoine
