A look back how you supported Red Nose Day in Derbyshire

Red Nose Day is back this week and we want to hear from Derbyshire people who are putting the fun into fundraising.

Our television screens will be awash with celebrities on Friday, March 19, including an exclusive performance from Justin Bieber and a sketch by The Vicar of Dibley crew.

The fundraising for Comic Relief happens every other year and in 1999 raised £63,548,668 for charities in the United Kingdom and around the world.

While this year’s events may look very different under the restrictions of social distancing as well as school and household bubbles, we’re sure that there are people in Derbyshire who are brimming with innovative ways to support this worthy cause.

Please share your fundraising activities and your photos.

Meanwhile, here’s a look back at some of the Red Nose Day activities in Derbyshire in years gone by.
