The title emerged after property company Bankrate took to Instagram to compare the number of hashtags for 100 rural locations dotted around the UK.
A search of the picture platform found the beautiful village had racked up a whopping 91,848 photo mentions.
Nestled under the mighty Mam Tor the village sadly lost out to North Devon’s Clovelly, Wales’ Portmeirion and Wiltshire’s Castle Combe in the top three places.
However the Derbyshire firm favourite will surely be a ‘High Peak’ for those daytripping closer to home during this summer’s staycation.
