The Monsal Trail was opened in 1981. With a length of about 8.5 miles starting at Topley Pike junction and ending at Coombs Road viaduct. The trail was created from the former Manchester, Buxton, Matlock and Midlands Junction Railway. With the restrictions in place due to the Coronavirus, we hope these pictures bring back some good memories.
